I hear 319363 was used for the first driver training runs today.
Driver training seems to have begun today between Allerton and Crewe.
Haha... Oops! Mods - delete this.
Do you think you two know each other and don't know it?

The picture of the new seating cover design.
I think they mean the small pictures inside the right hand side box.....
.... all yellow 319 on page 12
I don't think so it looks like they're just using stock photos to illustrate what they'll be doing
Is page 10 of this showing us what the 319 interior will be? Seems like its designed simply not to clash with FCC livery.

There was certainly PIS at Heswall when I visited it earlier this year. Green Lane posted photographic proof of it at Upton in his thread on the area earlier this summer.
Meols Cop I have no idea, still not visited it yet. Otherwise, yes every Merseyrail station has PIS.
I have not found ticket machines crash too often but quite a few appear have serious problems with their unresponsive touchscreens meaning you really have to bash them hard to make a selection
Piccadilly have done Chester for years. In fact Piccadilly have probably done the majority of the Chesters since 2008. They don't however sign via Warrington Bank Quay which Victoria drivers do to work the early & late ECS.
Errr...what has this got to do with the 319 cascade? As has been said before, there is a separate thread for infrastructure & stations!
From what I understand now Victoria drivers work the services which are part of a diagram involving an ECS via Warrington (as you say) or an ECS via Denton and some Sunday services, with the rest being operated by Piccadilly drivers. Victoria guards don't sign the line but Buxton guards do, while Buxton drivers don't. Simple.
The question is though - what other routes do Buxton guards sign? Assuming they don't sign EMUs that's a little limited - unless it includes Sheffield.
Piccadilly drivers don't sign via Denton or via Warrington BQ. There has to be enough Chester work for the 72 Vic drivers who sign the routes to maintain knowledge retention, that means at least half a dozen jobs per day.
Just to be clear, are 361/363/364/365/380 with Northern now? Any more to go up in the coming weeks?

No units are due until 2015. The introduction of the 387s may release more units but first one won't be with Thameslink until next month. Currently Thameslink is several units down after giving Northern units early so unlikely more units will arrive shortly.
Based on the DfT announcement in April Northern are due to have 3 x 319s this year, with sufficient crew training so that 2 daily diagrams can be operated by 319s from the December timetable change.
The plan was for Northern to have four units this year. The idea was two in service from December plus one spare/maintenance and another for driver training. The 4th unit would have been released by the arrival of the 387s.
What happen is 6 have been released meaning Thameslink is now shorter than planned. (The 6x 377/2 transfers also have to cover for three units away for overhaul.)
