Not at all, the original plan prior to 319361 being delayed was to use an 08 in the depot.

Just noticed a 5X19 from Bedford North Sidings to Edge Hill IC Depot on 01/08 (this Friday). Looks to me like 319362, almost identical timings and same route as the last move, except when it reaches Edge Hill Down Wapping it'll go to the depot there and not back down to Allerton Depot.

Do you mean a "reliveried" unit? If so, this is the new TSGN livery (or the base colour). If the unit you saw was 319.010, the interior is still shabby

No unit has just been "reliveried" but the ones now in TSGN livery have had C6 exams. I've stated this before, no major internal work has been done but its planned. The important thing is to get the exams done than sort the interior.

No, in a word!
Although Northern Liverpool drivers (or more likely driver instructors) may need to route learn Crewe in order to facilitate practical handling on 319s due to delays with the OHLE on the western half of the Chat Moss route.

Stock transfer will probably be a contract awarded to a freight firm, whether locos are used or a few drivers trained on the units to move them under their own power, obviously the latter subject to clearances etc.

That seems to be the way it is done, based on many precedents. The implication being that even when loco hauled is not the chosen method it is usually easier for a driver who knows the long distance route to learn (or re-learn) the traction, rather than the other way round.
