If anyone on here is interested I have sourced a list of all the units that have currentley been repainted by northern.
The thing to note is that the current livery being applied will superseed all previous ones, including the original final livery(now the 3rd version or 3a for variation purposes).
I will therefore first put a list of units repainted in the latest livery(now the final version, version 4 or for variation purposes 3b),then the rest.

What exactly are liveries 3/3a and 3b/4?
I'm really hoping that the Ravenglass & Eskdale livery isn't the final version. Horrible livery.

3 or 3a is the same colours as now but with an angular livery. This was originally meant to be the final version/livery for northern's corporate image

3b or 4 is the new modified final livery version which has a swoop at the cab end similar to the fnw one on the 323's.

All units will now receive the version 3a/4 swoop livery, including ones in previous northern liveries

150145 recieved the angular in 2005, it was the only 150/1 to do so but was recentley repainted in to the swoop livery as the whole sub class lose there fnw stars.
156469 and 156461 may lose there vinyl liveries if all the 156s are getting the swoop but who knows, they may well escape.

156484 settle and carlisle is in the correct variation so will stay the same

So, what is the white base colour livery i talk of? As far as i could see, it wasnt wide spread, if not even on another unit.

Yes...I have no idea what you're on about. There's at least 5 liveries about on Northern.

The light purple and white is my favourite too.

Is the Ravenglass & Eskdale livery the final version?

I dont know the livery names, but the white on purple is definately my favourite.

version 1 is purple with a white angular swoop

version 2 is white with a purple angular swoop

They were both test ones,I would expect all units in these liveries to almost certainly be repainted in due course

version 3 or 3a is purple and blue with angular

version 3b or 4 is same as 3 but with a curved swoop

The reason why they could be classed as 3a and 3b is because they are the same colours, just 3b is revised (same as class 158s)
