Has anyone ever asked for feedback on an application after receiving a rejection email?

I only ask as every one I’ve received from them has said, due to the high volume of applications they can’t provide feedback on why I didn’t progress to the interview stage.

Most TOCs will only offer feedback from interviews and not for assessments. I managed to get some feedback (albeit very vague) from assessments from my current TOC a while ago but I had to press them for it (as an internal candidate I think it’s the least they can do to be honest). I very much doubt they’d have given external candidates feedback.

You could maybe do a subject access request. I did one recently and they provided limited information to say the least.

A Subject Access Request (SAR) compels any organisation to provide information they hold about you which does not compromise another sensitivities. Unless they have your feedback written, this would not include this, so I am not surprised you got back very little.

Mine was for an interview so they would have had written notes.

sounds like SAR and GDPR are very similar requests. Or the same?

It is all about Data Protection and now in Europe we have the strongest rules in relation to this in the world.
