Hi,

I applied with FTPE in September and failed one of the tests on the day 1 assessment and was told not to apply for another 6 months.

I noticed on this application there is a section on psychometric assessment's and it too says that if you have attended an assessment on the last 6 months you are unable to apply.

I was under the impression that I would not be allowed to apply to FTPE for 6 months nt ALL TOC'S??

Does anybody know if I can still apply to Northern seen as I've never applied to them before or sat any of their tests??

No you can't unfortunately, as the tests are not actually conducted by the individual toc they are conducted by the opc across the board

These vacancies were up yesterday, I noticed the 45 minute rule for being near the depot and If you aren't relocation will not be considered, 45 minutes also cuts me out of the three depots nearest to me, two of them by one minute according to google maps.:roll::roll:

Hmmmm. I can get to hull in about 35 minutes to 45 minutes at the most yet on maps it says 1 hour!! I applied n first questions say are you within 60 minutes of depot!! So will av to see. I have passed all phsycometric tests with another TOC. Will this be a big advantage for me or not really. Thoughts????

Same here Joof, three depots and the furthest away is exactly 30 miles door to door and all three are majority motorway routes.
I hope it's a mistake and you're in under 60 minutes.

Hi youngboy. Will just have to wait and see. Have you also passed the phsycometrics then? It was a really short window for the post wasn't it. This rings alarm bells for me. Meaning I'm assuming the position is already for an internal. Who knows tho. We have to try.

Which 3 depots by the way??? It just said Hull when I applied. How many positions are there.

Just One of Northerns policy's mate. They're not all like that. Some allow to relocate others don't. It's as simple as that.
