In order for me to do some preparation work as I have passed the initial stage of my application, what sort of material will help me with my preparation? Does anybody know of anywhere I can purchase practise material which may help me get some practise in?

After the application, does anybody know what comes next? This is for the Manchester Trainee Driver position.

Thanks

I thought Nothern done DMI first, then if you pass DMI, assessment centre done a few weeks later all in 1 day including MMI, then medical, then job offer or talent pool.

Next stage with Northern after the sift is normally Driver Manager Intertview (DMI). Most other Tocs seem to have this after assessments judging by other threads. DMI is a job interview where they ask what you know about Northern and the depot you've applied for, why you want the role and several competency based questions related to qualities they are looking for.

They usually send you an information pack that explains the whole process including advice on preparing for the various assessments along with some practice material.

Depending what stage your at, if you have passed all recruitment assessments and awaiting Trainee driver course you first element would be PTS (Personal Track Safety). If you want to learn this element to stand you in good sted this website will help you, best of all its absolutely FREE!
