Hi Folks,

A few quick questions,are successful applicants who are placed on the NR Talent/Holding pool more often than not offered a position?

What's the longest anyone has in it for?

Usually 3-6 months. In one case, "On Hold" for 3 years :P

It's become a complete shambles up there in York. Not necessarily the frontline staff sifting the forms, but their management led by Adrian Thompson, the director. Unrealistic workloads are (allegedly) placed on the staff.

I should be in the talent pool aswell.. Still "on hold" but for how long??
I should phone them and explain I'm willing to move anywhere in their network for a job, this should increase my chances hopefully

I was in it for around 6 weeks I think, then they offered me a place. I'd already signed a contract with another TOC by then so politely declined.

Just out of interest, when did you first apply and for which position? Have you been in the pool for long since passing the assessment?

Passed interview May

Passed Assessment June

Put on hold June-late August

Placed in talent pool late August as jobs were withdrawn
