And section 7 talks about costs which also comes in to it

7.17 For the purposes of paragraph 7.16 the term “Costs” shall mean:
(a) rolling stock costs including rolling stock operational and maintenance costs payable by the Franchisee;
(b) staff costs including train crew costs and other employment related costs payable by the Franchisee;
(c) access charges payable by the Franchisee; and
(d) other administrative, financial, and/or operational costs payable by the Franchisee.

Some Northern employees have said on forums that they have complained about the fact that G4S are allowed to wear Northern uniforms so if the union kicks about a fuss about Northern doing what some of the union members have requested to happen then it would look like Michael O'Leary style PR.....

G4S staff at Victoria today were wearing Northern uniforms (with G4S logos on) so it's not a network-wide thing if management were behind it.
