Northern rail Newcastle-Glasgow

Quite a few of the diagrams that run around South Yorkshire during the day will end up at Newton Heath. Couple of units coupling at Huddersfield late on via Barnsley and also Sheffield via the Hope Valley Line back to Piccadilly and then to NH. Ive seen plenty of NH based 142s working out of Doncaster as well.

484 is presently still on Ncl - Carlsisle, and getting dirtier. Heaton doesn't seem able to clean the outside of windows and we have the old BR standard brown staining across the North East.

On arrival into Newcastle this evening, at 16:48, a 3 car 158 was just leaving south over the King Edward bridge. Anyone any idea where it was going and have we actually now got a nice decent unit in the area

Back to Neville Hill after work at Heaton. The 3 cars are really suffering at the moment and the Hill is full!
