northern rail interview

I have an interview with northern rail for the position of "revenue protection assistant" next week at newcastle central station. I was just wondering if anyone could offer advice as to how they carry out these interviews and how I can prepare myself as much as possible.

I have just had interview for same job but for TPE mine was a telephone interview and mainly involved examples of a time when you have given excellent customer service they ask for specific examples and how it made you feel etc.

I have also had a conductor interview which I passed with northern and this was face to face with 2 managers and again example based and involved when dealt with a difficult situation too.

How would you deal with a difficult situation?

Could be any experience from your past personal or work based, I used difficult customer and situations from my past employment and current business.. Angry customers, abusive customer etc

Thanks for the replies people! I have had my interview and been given a conditional offer of employment, just need my medical abd start date! Thankyou for the advice people I appreciate it!
