I was passing through Halifax station today and saw a carriage in Northern Rail livery. It seemed much like a Mk3 but I'm not exactly sure. It definitely wasn't a 158 or any other Sprinter as such. I don't have any pictures and I'm gutted that I do, but I've searched on Google and nothing appears to be on there regarding this peculiar sighting.
Would I be best off contacting Northern Rail asking what it was or do any of you know what's at Halifax at the moment?

If you can post the time of the train then I'm sure people on here who work for Northern or who have access to TRUST might be able to tell you. That said have you looked at the planner website that tells you about ECS movements and what stock is timed for what route? I don't use it so forget what it's called, Working Train Times? Might be it, i see people mention it on here regularly. Have a browse on that but I think I can say Northern don't have any LHCS especially Mk3s to the best of my knowledge. But I might be wrong.
