Chances are you won't get them online as they change around about every 3 months and they are sensitive data. Also they usually aren't right and can turn up any type of traction.

However there are plenty of Northern staff on here if there is anything specific you want to know?

Are they really sensitive data though? Take a look at a Freedom of Information request made to East Coast here Commercially sensitive information is excluded, so the fact that they provided the diagrams must mean that it isn't considered commercially sensitive. These are the most recent diagrams, the May 2013 to December 2013 diagrams have also been provided for an earlier FOI request.

Also, older diagrams for a range of TOC's can be found here. The site hasn't been updates in a few years but it will give you an idea. I've had a look at the Northern diagrams and while their are a few differences (Class 156's working around Sheffield- they no longer do, and no Leeds to Nottingham diagrams as the service wasn't running then), they still seem to be quite accurate in other areas. Certainly for the Sheffield to Lincoln line (one of my local lines), there doesn't seem to be a massive difference (other than the lack of 156's now).

Northern's 156's are based in Allerton (liverpool) and Newcastle last ive herd about it. the best Sheffield *Should* be getting is 158's on leeds to notty, you might be lucky enough to get a EMT 156 on Liverpool to Norwich runs but 158s seem to be the better of the northern services through Sheffield. and in relation to diagrams if You Cannot find them on Google ur never gonna find them ... if u are a spotter id suggest sit off in Newcastle for 3 hours then trundle down to man vic / pic for the rest of the day.

I would expect Class 92 to get a flea in his ear if he tried to get this info from Northern or any other normal franchise
As with any private company, if they say it is 'Private & Confidential' it is private & confidential - whether its Tescos, Stobarts, an insurance company, a bank or a TOC
If its the UK (or local) Government department/company like ECML, the Freedom of Information request should result in getting the requested information
