Northern Rail Class 170

Does anyone know why Northern Rail Class 170's are on driver training from Nottingham to Doncaster along the Erewash Valley line?

Can't answer the above query but am asking which Northern routes use 170s at the moment.
Halifax - Hull, Sheffield - Hull - Scarborough and Leeds - Harrogate - York; what about York - Hull?

The first three are correct. They almost never appear on York-Hull, that instead has 155s normally running it.
