Northern off-peak conundrum

Using the transpennine website to choose which trains I wished to use, I have bought tickets for use on two Northern services, viz. 08.15 HUD - SYB and 16.41 SYB - HUD on the same weekday.
Now it occurs to me that both of these trains appear to the lay reader to be "Peak Time" but the tickets with which I've been issued are "Off-Peak Return".
However, looking at the guide maps shown in: https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/tickets/28-off-peak
the verbiage for each individual map contains the statement:
'Restrictions apply to journeys that start and finish on routes marked in red from 16.01 - 18.29'
Now both my jouneys are not shown on any one map but rather all break at the Greater Manchester / West Yorkshire border (Greenfield-Marsden) so no journey actually starts and finishes on a route marked in red.

Question is, assuming I do not break my journey (which I do not intend to do) is an "Off Peak Return" valid at these times?

As you are travelling between two PTE areas there would be no restriction and you would be allowed to travel at that time. Furthermore, pulling up the Off Peak Return on BRFares tells you that it has restriction code 8A, which mentions no evening or even morning restriction

The so-called "Off Peak Return" for that route is valid by any train.

As you are travelling between two PTE areas there would be no restriction and you would be allowed to travel at that time....

There are exceptions to that 'rule', but this isn't one of them.
