On the Chester-bound platform, passengers aren't allowed to pass underneath the bridge as it is beyond the prohibition sign. So there wouldn't need to be another at the end of the platform. Not sure about the other platform though! This is veering slightly off-topic, but when I was at Mouldsworth last month I noticed that neither of the platforms has a ‘passengers must not pass this point’ sign at the Chester end. Is this because passengers rarely venture beyond the bridge and so it’s not felt necessary? (I had half an hour to kill so I did wander down the whole length of the platform, managing not to go down the ramp despite the lack of signage!)
