Northern line open bve trouble

I am having trouble with installing the open bve routes for the Northern Line and the open bve LT1995. when I download it, it has the unkown file type icon. just wandering if anyone can help me with this, as i have seen videos of the northern line I would be really keen to have it with the open bve LT1995.
