Northern Line 17/18th August

I've been checking the TFL upgrade page and it's saying no Northern Line service between High Barnet, Golders Green and Stockwell on the Weekend of the 17/18th August. Are both central branches going to be shut all weekend?

If so, [expletive deleted] as I'm meant to be going to a wedding near Angel!

The bus doesn't take too long from Kings Cross to Angel, not the worst place to have no tube service!

As above - it's a 5 minute bus ride up the hill from KX on any one of five very frequent bus routes. It'll put ten minutes on the trip at worst if you're coming from Paddington on the H&C/Circle.

If you're travelling from Exeter into Waterloo then a 4 will take you straight to Angel.

Thanks - I need to go to Wembley first (only decent Hotel in my budget).

Will probably be going to Slimelight so it will be bus back (my all nighter days are beyond me)
