Northern Jobs - Any joy

just got an email from northern saying the depot drivers position I applied for passed the tests and interviews has now been placed on hold and my interview expired. Still cant get my head around why they would advertise jobs , put people through all the tests and then leave them waiting for 5 months only to tell them thanks but no thanks

Ditto here mate. Very poor management and not exactly a good way to encourage good people to apply. I'm so glad I didn't put all my eggs in one basket.

Things change on the railway, sometimes fast, sometimes slow.
For example, the depot drivers jobs may have been taken by mainline drivers who have been medically restricted to shed duties, or perhaps been a bit naughty once too often.
It's a real pain, but its the way it works.
Keep at it, you will get there in the end.
