Hi all, I'm planning a four-day trip to Northern Ireland next year and I wish to cover all the lines. I've got a senior railcard (I'm 63 next April) and was thinking is there a rover ticket that covers all the network, either a one day or longer? I've been on the website, but it doesn't seem to be very clear. I also will want to go on the bus tour of Belfast and visit the Giants Causeway.

Hi there,
What you need is the i-link travel card. As you've found, the Translink website isn't particularly obvious or helpful to use so here's the link you need:

It covers all of the Translink trains, the Enterprise train within NI, all local buses within NI and the Goldline coaches. (It doesn't include the private tour buses around Belfast though.)
It costs £16.50 per day or £60 per week.
There are no peak time restrictions and there's no senior related discounts as if you're over 60 and a NI resident it's all free.

You can buy the card in advance and have it delivered to you and it doesn't start until you first use it. You can buy one in the Tourist Info centre in Belfast but I'd recommend getting it ahead of time.

A British Senior railcard doesn’t apply in NI. (NI residents over 60 get free rail & bus travel but for visitors and others without a local pass, it’s just the normal adult fare).

On Sundays there’s flat fare which allows unlimited travel on the whole NI network.

There’s also a Belfast Visitor Pass valid for 1, 2 or 3 days.

Also 1 day or 7 day I-link cards allow unlimited travel.

If travelling by train to Derry/Londonderry sit on the right hand side of the train (facing Derry) if you can, as the views along the north coast after Coleraine are better.

Connecting bus at Derry takes you to and from the main bus station on Foyleside (free).

Been looking on the Translink website and, is there a ticket similar to an all line railrover ticket, because I cant see it? I 've found a ticket if I want to travel all day on a particular line like all day on Belfast to Bangor but not if I want to do the whole network. Thanks

Only on a Sunday where a fat fare allows you to travel the network. Otherwise you have to choose one of the options mentioned above.

Ok thanks, I'll just buy the tickets when I need them then.
