Afternoon,

Just wondered if anyone could give me any advice on my upcoming I/V.

I do not currently work within the industry and believe that should i pass the I/V there will be an assessment day.

Can anyone actually confirm the 2019 figures regarding trainee wage for initial 9-12 month, then 2 and 3rd years for Northern (Arriva). These seem to be hard to find!

Please don't take it as i am just after the money.... take it as serious plans by myself to survive the 1 year low wage.

Thanks in advance for any advice and what questions i am likely to be asked.

Congrats on getting this far. Which depot is your interview for? I know there are a few waiting for responses on apps from Northern!

Is in the other thread as above.

West yearly salary for a trainee is £21732 which works out at a 4 weekly take home of £1358.52 after deductions for tax, NI and pension

Does anyone know whether northern request your sickness record before starting? I'm due to hopefully start in September as a driver but due an operation in next few weeks which my employer said will put me a sickness advisory due to me having a few weeks off before Christmas too. Don't want to be seen as someone who's always on sick before I start
