Flunked it today - Dials and Cables test. Gutted!!! Everything going well with till that test. Instructions made sense, got the practice test questions correct, turned the page to start and went blank! Absolutely gutted!!!
Great set of lads on the test - only 4 of us in the centre - so if any of the other 2 who made it through are on here - well done lads and I hope you do well going forward.
Now the wait begins.....apply again in 4 months (countdown starts now).

Just here for my monthly check-in. This job was posted in October and mine still says application in progress.
Mine too for Buxton.
Northern are training loads of drivers at the moment, and there are only a limited amount of rooms/trainers, as well as unit availability at depots and DTM’s to do assessments etc. Basically they’re snowed under and I’d guess they’re maybe having to delay some courses or recruitment.
That’s just my (educated) guess.

It means they no longer need trainee drivers... well external ones at least. I had the same email
