I'm currently in 'talent pool'/ 'on file' for Allerton depot but apparently they've now re'advertised internally for the same position. Is this normal? Just find it a bit odd when there is at least 4 of us that got through the whole process last year. Maybe re-interviews are in the near future. Fingers crossed. Any info would be great.

Yeah that's what had happened to me at Heaton, had an interview in August last year and got told I would be put in talent pool for future vacancies. They have just advertised externally for this role. The only difference I can see in job descriptions is that the new position has a 3 year training salary compared to when I applied it was full pay straight away. Wonder if this has anything to do with why I didn't get a phone call?

That's interesting. I've applied for the role at Heaton again, hoping for a better outcome this year though!
