Northern days out

Had the chance over the last few months for two days out with my son around the Northern network from our base in Chesterfield.

First up is a trip on the 19th March. We used the Northern vouchers to try the new 319's out around Liverpool and Manchester. Have a look at the photos here:-

Last month, on the 2nd June, we had a day trip out to Morecambe, out via Leeds and back via Manchester. This was a fantastic day for us and allowed a few new bits of line. The trip from Leeds was fantastic. Have a look at the photos here:-
