Does anybody know if I applied for conductor job, whether or not it would go against a current open application for trainee driver job?

No you can apply for both at once. They go into two separate sifting 'pots'.

Although if you got a job offer for conductor it would then cancel your driver one.

Apply for as many jobs as you want. In my opinion it shows great willing. Good luck to all who apply. They seem to be quite keen on recruiting bus drivers for guards and drivers roles. So i believe.
