Exactly, it probs just comes down to the interviewer, they might already have someone in mind before either of us were interviewed, definitely agree with getting to this stage is an achievement alone.

yeah true, I never expected to get the job with the competition for one position but it would have been nice to experience the assessment and put me in good shape for future applications.

I'll be even more gutted if I passed the assessment and they chose someone else, at least you've had experience of the process for future applications like you say.

Slightly different, didn't ask when I'd helped someone but asked me when I dealt with a complaint or a disruption and similar things.

I think they might have various sets of questions because the woman said everyone "today" would be getting asked the same questions. Or it might be the same format with one of two variations they swap between.

Really good post this guys. Sorry you didn't get on. I have been lucky and been invited to assessment on Tuesday....very nervous but here's hoping.
