Hey, guys, always had an interest in working within the industry (wanted to be a conductor since i was 9)

Now finally got an interview for Northern Rail next week and currently "bricking it"

Don't really know what to expect, I have years of customer service experience including public transport as a former bus driver.

Would just like a heads up what to expect and what preparations I should make?

Been practising the Group Bourdon test for about 6 months now, but not sure if it is relevant.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I recently had an interview for a difference TOC and have just received a job offer. I had my assessment day which included group bourden, plus working out ticket prices and change given, a test to decide if tickets were valid or not and a kind of comprehension test, answering questions about stuff you just read. The following week was the interview which was mainly customer service based but also describing how I handled an emergency/difficult situation, working alone and in a team, cash handling and describing what I thought a conductor job entails and what equipment they might need. Hope this is of some help to you. Good luck.

Have a look at the thread I made called Northern Conductor Interview, about 5 pages of up to date info as I had my interview today.
Which location is it for?
