Northern conductor Blackburn application

Hi. I have recently applied for Northern conductor Blackburn and completed the maths assessment online and then I did the verbal online test the following day but ever since then my application remains under consideration. Has anyone else heard anything is is it just a waiting game?

Yes exactly the same thing has happened to me. I applied for Liverpool in June and received an invitation to do the maths and then the verbal reasoning, I have heard nothing since and my application is still under consideration all this time later. Not sure what to think.

Personally it took me just over six weeks to receive an interview offer for another depot (but still Northern). There was no communication in this period.

Last email i had back was on the 16/08 so i think i still have a wait until something happens.

I know other people have received offers in far less than six weeks - so it's anyone's guess really.

Different station but I applied for a trainee conductor vacancy for Carlisle on 14th August. On the 21st I received an email to do the online numerical test, which I completed and immediately received an email to complete the verbal reasoning. Application states 'under consideration'.
I have been quite anxious about the whole thing, wondering if, what, why etc but upon reading the length of time you have all been waiting I feel a little better.
I have heard it can be a lengthy process as there are so many applicants.
Guess we all just need to sit tight.
