Northern Class 323 training?

Hi not sure if I should ask this in another part of the forum? On my way to work at Wigan North Western and just seen a Northern liveried Class 323 pull into platform 3 then. Didn't get the last 3 numbers. Has the headcode 5T02 when I checked on traksy however if anyone knows if it's a training run?

323230. Worked 5T01 ex Allerton to Wigan NW as 5T01, then 5T02 return. Presume crew training.

They also have 208 and 212 in Preston for type training don't know if it's for both wigan and blackpool crews though.
