I have decided to create a new thread on the Northern Class 158 which mainly includes the refurbishment program and sightings.
So far I believe only 158845/49 have been given full refurbishment treatment and believe 158904 has been in the works. Any updates would be appreciated on this thread of the refurb program and thoughts on the units themselves. 158s have been neglected over the last 20 odd years and only patch ups achieved. I think the new Northern livery and interior is far an improvement.
