or rather lack of them. I didn't think to get the number of the unit but on my trip to Southport today, this thing had quite a few missing tables. Anybody from Northern know why? Probably down vandalism or lack of maintenance most probably

Some tables were removed to make access a bit easy for the less supple passenger such as the elderly.

I noticed 150277 has also had some furniture removed, the front left set of seats behind one? of the cab have been removed and have become a Wheelchair/Cycle/Luggage area. Made me think they should remove the luggage rack on the Ex FNW 150s to create a similar less retrictive space and replace the bench seats at t'other side with proper seats. But there again Wheelchair users wouldn't be able to get down to the Non-Disabled complaint toilet which takes up so much space.

I hate 150's for exactly this reason. Most of them still haven't had the seating arrangements rearranged from the BR days. The seating is so inefficiently arranged and does nothing for passenger comfort or satisfaction

I cannot stand the 150s with the bay seating.

Some of the Northern 156s have had a bit of a tidy up I've noticed - the walls have been painted purple.

The ex-ATN 156s with the green seats are looking knackered though!
