Has anybody else experienced similar to the below...
Several weeks ago on the Thursday before Storm Ciara hit, the Northern CIS screens at my local station (Slaithwaite) were plastered with a message advising of service disruption. Unfortunately, whoever set these messages managed to put them on permanently over the top of the train running information, basically rendering the CIS useless.
I tweeted Northern on the Friday evening to report it was stuck on and was told it would be looked in to. The screens didn't change on the Saturday and when I went back on Monday were still displaying the storm message. Another quick tweet later and I was assured it would be resolved. Three days later they were updated to show a 'This display has a fault - please refer to timetables' message. Despite several tweets, this is still the status of our screens now - three weeks after the initial message.
I'm interested to know how many other stations have been affected so that I have a bit more clout when I raise this with Northern.
I should note that this is an unstaffed station at which zero Northern services call so I am wondering if we're a low priority to them.
