Hi all, could anyone kindly assist with any knowledge of routes and traction signed by Northern drivers at Buxton.

I've been searching and can find lots on Northern's bigger depots but very little for Buxton.

I can see that a much of the work will be along the Buxton line to Piccadilly. Does anyone know what other routes are signed?

Likewise I believe traction is mostly class 150 and 156, but does anyone know what other traction may be signed. Do Buxton drivers sign any EMU's for use up to Hazel Grove for example?

Any other knowledge or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

AFAIK they sign 156, 150/1/2, 319 & 142(maybe). They go up to Picc, picc to the airport and Preston. There may be more and sure someone will fill in any gaps.

If that's the case they must've lost Blackpool work. I assume after the 2017/8 blockade? Haven't seen any Buxton crew up there for a while, although they are spread a bit thinly.

Buxton guards also sign Chester via Altrincham but drivers don't.

Traction - 142, 150, 156 & 319. The majority of the work is on 150's.

They will be learning the new units and 319 Flex

Routes:

Piccadilly, Preston two ways, Airport, Alderley Edge, Wigan NW via Westhoughton
Stockport carriage sidings

Definitely one of the more repetitive depots work wise
