Northern 6 month test wait

Hi, I wondered if anybody could advise. As per my previous posts I took the assessment with DB Schenker in February and failed a part of the test only applicable to DBS and not one of the core tests, I passed those well, up until I had to stop before the reaction test and structured interview.

I am currently on hold with Northern (I don't expect it to be progressed) and have noticed a depot job, in the application I'm sure I will be asked if I have taken the tests in the last six months and the outcome, I'm not sure where I would stand, I have taken the tests and passed the elements Northern would expect, but didn't complete the full assessment.

I did contact Northern and TPE with regards to this, but neither came back to me, TPE knocked back my application and Northern put me on hold, so I'm not sure if I can take anything from that.

As has been posted on here before, several applicants who had passed assessment with TPE were knocked back by Northern before Christmas because they hadn't done the Mechanical Comprehension test, and weren't allowed by Northern to take just that one test.

Whilst I think that's a pretty bad move by the company, it's their decision to make, and I'd think it demonstrates that part-assessment isn't something they entertain. As always in these cases though, the only way to be 100% certain is to speak to the relevant TOC's HR department. If they don't respond, I'm not sure what more can be done.
