Northern 195 Diagrams

The driver training routes aren't indicative of where services will run, they are just paths picked where the units can shuttle back and forth ECS to amass the four hours practical handling needed on day six of the training course.
That's not to say the 195s won't be running on Leeds to Nottingham, but the handling doesn't need to be done on a route the units will be driven in service.

Driver training ON 331s off Allerton is from Liverpool South Parkway to Crewe which is not a Northern route.

Yes, some Northern DIs/DMs have been trained on these other routes to be able to take drivers out on the units for practical handling / traction passouts.

A lot of Lime Street drivers sign Crewe (via Runcorn) anyway for ECS movements of 323/319’s.
