Northern 158 in Nottingham

Saw 158907 in Northern livery in the non-platform roads at Nottingham today, then headed west. I was thinking this might be the start of driver training for the new Nottingham - Leeds service maybe? Could someone possibly confirm this?

I think the new service starts in the big timetable shakeup in December, but not sure 100%

Yeah it does. Hourly between roughly 7 and 7. Every 2 on Sundays I think.

It makes sense with it being longer distance but to tell ya the truth i havent a clue.

Sadly, no they wont. I have just got my hands on some footage from a sauce at Northern, and it appears that the Nottingham will be receiving NEW trains
