Looks like a lot of freight routes are added to the Northampton Gateway Terminal, but many are actually active, is it common to add routes as placeholders (then analyse actual train data at those times) before they are properly scheduled?
There will likely be a lot of Y paths, which mean that the origins towards Gateway and destinations from there can be shared. FOCs will have bid for them, NR won't randomly put them in.Looks like a lot of freight routes are added to the Northampton Gateway Terminal, but many are actually active, is it common to add routes as placeholders (then analyse actual train data at those times) before they are properly scheduled?
GBRf have clearly bid for it assuming a new traffic flow. There isn't anything unusual with it.I was looking at 4M00 particularly, its a new route added to the schedule and is down as WTT. Not sure if that means anything?
WTT just means it's in the 6 month long-term plan and can roll over to future timetables, rather than being only in for specific dates.I was looking at 4M00 particularly, its a new route added to the schedule and is down as WTT. Not sure if that means anything?
A service between Northampton and Southampton via East West Rail completes the compass in a pleasing (if very nerdy) way. Shame it's not DRS who operate it.Looking at RTT, the only regular runner to Northampton Gateway at the moment is 4M60 Southampton (Didcot on Mondays) to Northampton and 4O56 Northampton to Southampton return
