I drove past this the other week. Does anything much go on here any more? I didn't even think there were rails leading to it nowadays, but I did see a NR van pull out with chaps in hi-vis inside.

I'm talking about the one on Cotton End/St Leonards, not the new fangled Siemens facility just north of the station.

P-WAY,ultrasonics and welders still work out of bridge street depot.

Ah. I thought that might be the case. So nothing in the way of trains actually using the depot then?

shut to passengers in '64 and then to freight in the early 70's,there was some sidings still there and then the box was burnt out in 2006 i think.

I last worked a train down to Bridge Street in late 2005, a materials trip working from Rugby for the CMD. A while later my mate was sent down there to learn the road and it closed that very day! Don't recall the exact date though, sorry.
