I will be travelling from Preston to Porthmadog in early July. Can "North Wales Rovers" be bought in advance for specific dates? It looks like there's very little chance to reduce the overall costs, but every little helps....Any info on these would be great...

I don't think it will save you any money. But I'm sure you can buy up to a month in advance. but it will still cost you the same as if you buy it on the day.

If you are asking whether it is cheaper to buy a Rover in advance, then the answer is no. They are exactly the same price, so there is no advantage at all in buying one early.

If you are not planning on travelling around very much when in North Wales, it may not be worth buying one at all. If you are using the bus a lot, it can be a great buy as it will still be valid on all buses on days you are not using it for rail travel. But you probably know that already!
