I must admit, I’ve been hoping for electrificiation of this line since the 1980’s but given line’s with much more robust business cases can’t get funding I’m certain it won’t happen in my lifetime (and I would hope I have 40-50 years to go!). Maybe bi-modes will replace yhe Voyagers!
