I've recently moved to Flint on the North Wales Coast and I was wondering, whether anyone can provide any up to date, times and dates for certain interesting workings such as the WAG train, Loco Hauled Pendo, Flasks, Chirk Logs and the Penmaenmawr Quarry train.

I apologise if this question occurs regularly and if anyone can provide any information I would be grateful.

Welcome to Wales!

The WAG is 0533 off Holyhead, and from next Monday calls at Flint at 0655.
Returning, it's 1821 off Cardiff, calling Flint 2116. Both Mon-Fri only.

The pendo drag is Sats. only - 0850 off Euston, Chester 1112 [estimated passing Flint about 1124] and returns from Holyhead 1438 [estimated past Flint about 1604].

I haven't seen the Flasks recently - now they're decommissioning Wylfa I don 't think it's as often and just runs when required.

I've seen the Chirk logs in Chester about 1800, but of couse that goes down the Shrewsbury line and not along the North Wales Coast.

Also the stone trains seem to run as and when required now - best to check Open Trains or some similar website.

Recently, ATW have been doing driver-training on their dvt - times and lots more information about the North Wales Coast line can be found on Charlie Hulme's excellent website here:-

Enjoy Wales!

Freightmaster Online features "up to date" timetables for Chester
and Llandudno Junction (plus over 100 others!)

I'm currently offering 'trial' subscriptions which provide access
through to the end of September for £9 (if you then decide to
continue your subscription, you get the £9 back :D )
