North Pole Integrated Heritage Hub proposal

As Britain's heritage railways begin packing away all their gear from the Santa Specials and "trains of lights" for another year, and dismantling the tracks from their usual limits of operations to the North Pole, it occurred to me that while I've never been for a walk around outside any of the North Pole stations, could heritage railways make any kind of saving, or perhaps encourage more through joirneys, by building one big North Pole station rather than individual termini? I appreciate the demand for flows like, say, Minehead to Pickering via the North Pole with only a couple of trains a week, often at weekends only, might not be huge, but perhaps worth exploring. Mods, if this is not crayonista enough for the speculative ideas section please feel free to move to a more suitable section.

The cost of maintaining rolling stock suitable for the central route away from the preserved railways would be too significant for this to be viable and the journey length too long.

Sorry, perhaps I haven't explained very clearly. The journey would all be on heritage lines, so passengers would travel, for example, Kidderminster-North Pole (Severn Valley Santa Special)- change train- North Pole - Paignton (South Devon Railway Train of Lights). I think both journeys take about an hour

Yes, it would be amazing if such a hub could be established but it breaks the idea of an out and back journey. A shame current technology doesn't stretch that far.

I think that a Nordpol Verbindungsknoten could work, providing an integrierter Fahrplan to enable clock face connections between the different preserved routes at a central location in the Arctic circle - maybe even with connections to Hogsmede Hauptbahnhof for passengers heading to/from Hogwarts?

I'm not a mod but very impressed with germanic and Nordic sounding stuff. Sounds like it's very well thought out whatever it is. Probably well engineered, too
