Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can find station diagrams of Newcastle, Darlington and York with the platform numbers on?

Also, could I have the following formations please:
4 car Voyager
5 car Voyager
NXEC HST

Thanks very muchly!

Voyager maps are here

I don't have the NXEC HST one, but I do have the 225.

Station diagrams with platform numbers are in the new generation of Trackmaps/Quail maps - obtainable via Amazon.

If you want maps of Darlington & York, simple drawings, with platform numbers, give me a shout, and I shall try and make something up for you!

Darlingtons simple enough, its an Island platform, with 2 bays at the South end,

and seeing as I pass through York most days, I should know the layout by now!

Fromn what I could see whilst waiting for an NXEC service in Edinburgh, Virgin are currently employing a "free form" attitude to Voyager formations.

The Virgin Voyager fleet are part way through a remarshalling IIRC, so some will be in the old formation and some in the new, but its a choice of 2, hardly freeform!

How many station staff actually know how to book seats properly??

A Seat reservation for Seats 51 and 52 are "table seats" according to the station staff at Leeds, however looking on that diagram in the same coach - they are not

How annoying!!

Most TOCs seem to designate all seats as 'Airline' these days so it's hard to tell.

excuse me, when we select table seat on the screen that is what the system should book, if the train has one. not our fault if it doesnt.

Well, the train did have one... Or two, or should I say three when I walked up and down the carriage??
So, there were seats available. Not my fault she didn't do her job right
