North Downs disruption

There is a lot of disruption to North Downs services this morning due to a broken down train. OTT maps shows 2J02 0623 Guildford - Farnham with 450083 in the signal berth at North Camp. It that is true, then I am not surprised that it has broken down. Rescuing it may prove to be a challenge?

Looks to have been cleared now, 1V36 has just reported arriving at North Camp - albeit 114 minutes late!

I guess at least the rear of the 450 must still have been on the juice because I did not notice a 1Z99 running, unless I missed it.

Possibly. If the driver was expecting to turn left towards Farnham then they'd have been braking for the low speed curve so might have been able to hit the brakes quickly enough to keep the train on the juice. However it did take 2 hrs to resolve, looking at RTT, so perhaps the rescue train was running as a regular service to Ash and therefore didn't appear as a 1Z99?
