North Clyde & Argyle line disruption today (01/11/22)

Surprised there's not yet been a thread on this. Looks like there's been some fairly significant disruption on the Glasgow low level lines throughout the day today.

Power was switched off around Queen Street Low Level at about 7:15am this morning due to a small fire. There was a separate incident at Hyndland soon after which prevented trains from going further west. NRE stating this was also caused by a failure to the power supply and Scotrail are expecting disruption until at least 10pm.

There was a separate incident at Hyndland soon after which prevented trains from going further west. NRE stating this was also caused by a failure to the power supply and Scotrail are expecting disruption until at least 10pm.

This is actually a problem with the duplicated signalling data links between Yoker IECC and the Hyndland interlocking. It started late last night, deteriorated during the day and it’s looking likely at this stage that there will be disruption into tomorrow morning as the source of the fault hasn’t been found yet despite hours of testing.

Yes was caught up in this, most trains from the Hamilton/Carmyle end are terminating at Anderston.

This is actually a problem with the duplicated signalling data links between Yoker IECC and the Hyndland interlocking.

That's a blast from the past! There hasn't been any IECC at Yoker since 2017.
