It was 66743 and the stock was 99969, 99968, 99964, 99963, 99962, 99961, 99337, 99960, 99967, 99965.

66003 has now escaped Crewe and is currently working 4O21 0920 Trafford Park - Southampton Western Docks and is then due to work 4M78 2147 back to Trafford Park.

I've just seen a message saying that 455 868 ( with 455 909 ) is working Waterloo - Basingstokes today although this isn't showing up on RTT and the detailed view of the train itself shows no allocation details...

Is this correct? 455s on the Basingstoke run?

11.23 Basingstoke to Waterloo, 13.45 back to Basingstoke then 15.23 to Waterloo again? ( Which implies the 09.45 from Waterloo was also thus formed ).

I would have thought that on a strike day they'd have no shortage of 450s for a run like this...?

Those services were indeed formed with the 455s you mention. They were late notice additional services over and above the planned strike service and utilised an 8 455 formation that would otherwise have been spare in Waterloo South Siding for the duration.
