Just received this phone in the past few days & I have just noticed that closing the Slide does not end a call does anyone know can the settings be adjusted to set it up to work like that.

On my N95 it does end the call, it just takes a while to do it.
It may be dependant on firmware and network operator, if it doesn't work I would suggest taking it to your local mobile phone shop and asking them or posting on the Nokia forums.

I have just found that It is not part of the phones design
Not specifically a Nokia forum. But it's probably one of the best mobile websites around.
