No valid fare for map PR during engineering work between Sheffield and Nottingham on 16/08

I was planning to follow maps PR+XW between Nottingham and Wigan, 09:47 direct train from Nottingham to Warrington Central, walk to Warrington Bank Quay, and hopping on an Avanti to Wigan. This seems to be deemed invalid by the national rail journey planner, but the routing guide seems to allow it.

I tried picking a random day next week and now it seems valid again. There seems to be engineering works between Nottingham and Sheffield diverting some trains to go via Derby and avoiding Sheffield, but I dont see why that should affect map PR.

Journey planners seem to be thrown off by this particular engineering work, see

Squires Gate to Chesterfield / Sat 8 August

Looking at a Squires Gate to Chesterfield on Sat 8 August, some ticket engines are coming up with no journeys found (northern) whereas others (Avanti) are showing the journey I’d regularly take. I know EMR have some disruption at the moment but didn’t think it would affect the regional route...

EMR trains are avoiding Sheffield due to engineering works. The Routeing Guide maps require you to go through Sheffield to validate the route, and the industry has failed to add the necessary easements to allow journeys avoiding Sheffield to show as valid.
