No Hot Water .. on 3 trains

My wife and I travelled from Newcastle to York this morning on the 08:59 TPE train to York. No hot drinks were available due to a faulty boiler

10:59 LNER train from York to Kings Cross .. the same story, no hot drinks.

Now we are on the 14:37 GWR from Paddington to Cardiff and again no hot water.

What's going on ??

Is there a new tax on hot water ?

It'll be these newer inferior trains. ;)

Had that fun a few years ago on both an Aberdeen to King's Cross and also on a service from Stirling to King's Cross. Imagine the endurance many had on those trips. In both occasions I only had to get to York for a cup of tea.
