NMT near Birmingham today

Hi all,

I saw the NMT today just approaching Coseley in the up direction at around 1503. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it was doing, and more importantly, what power cars were running and what coaches were on?

Can't help with the formation, but the train was 1Q24 06:50 Derby-Derby via Lichfield, Stoke, Stockport (r), Stoke, Stafford, Wolves, New St, Coventry, Northampton (r), Coventry, New St, Wolves, Stafford, Stoke (r), and Lichfield

Did you get a close enough look to see if the power cars had front buffers? 43013 and 43014 do, 43062 doesn't

Unfortunately it passed as we were moving and I just saw the yellow and the HST end Thanks for the info though - will be useful in future!
