I think you're way too optimistic there! I can remember having 37425 from Newton Abbot to Birmingham New Street after a powercar had failed on the Newquay - Manchester Piccadilly a few years back. Somehow I doubt '425 would be capable of that now and would probably fail running light engine going down there!

Ditto although from a little further North, was it not also the day a holiday maker burst between Cheltenham and Brum (one of the 67 sets) and got rescued by a 60 or something?

When have they hit tunnels and bridges before? :???: Although you are on the right lines, they had been moved so they can be used on the Huddersfield - Barnsley route for the RHTTs. But I believe that 66s have now been given dispensation for this route now, so the horn movement seems uneccessary now.

Since when has 43014 had that red bar?
I photographed it at Crewe about a month ago and it was black. Weird
